INVESTING IN POSITIVE CHANGE
COMMUNITY IMPACT
A MISSION OF OUTREACH AND SERVICE
The visionary founders of Saint John’s On The Lake established a mission of outreach and service to older adults, and this focus continues today both on our campus and in the greater community. With more than 155 years of experience, Saint John’s knows the importance of investing in, and sharing best practices for lifelong learning, aging well, and diversity and inclusion.
Looking back on Saint John’s distinguished history of compassion and justice, we are compelled to chart a similarly courageous course into the future. We sincerely believe it is our moral obligation. It is through this lens that we examine how Saint John’s, as an organization and a cooperative of individuals, might further employ our resources to affect positive change.
COMMUNITY IMPACT FUND
To enhance and secure Saint John’s community vision in perpetuity, the Community Impact Endowment Fund was established in our Foundation. With generous donations by long-time employee and former Vice President Donna Spars and resident Kent Mayfield, the Fund was seeded in 2018.
Saint John’s collaborates with community partners to address critical needs in our community. As shown in our latest Community Impact Report below, this broad spectrum of collaboration is intentional for maximum benefit and impact.
